Description: This nationally scarce moth is associated with damp woodland such as gill woodland and it is at Hastings Country Park Nature Reserve where this species is recorded most in Hastings. The larval foodplants are stitchworts and chickweeds and the adult is on the wing from June to August. Most records are from light traps but this species can occasionally be disturbed during the day.
