Fairlight-Hastings through HCPNR 0650-0930: AP
Willow Warbler/Chiffchaff 30, Whitethroat 6, Lesser Whitethroat 3, Wheatear 4, Whinchat 6 together, Redstart 2, Spotted Flycatcher 1, Yellow Wagtail 12, Grey Wagtail 1E, Reed Bunting 1, Swallow 150, House Martin 40, Sand Martin 20.
Dartford Warbler at least 3, Peregrine 1.

West Hill and Torfield 08.30 – 11.00 SB, MG
An increased number of 9 robins noted at Torfield, and from the West Hill, an intermittent movement of Swallow 1700 and House Martin 1100 west.
5 Willow Warbler, 7 Wheatear, 1 Spotted Flycatcher, 1 Yellow Wagtail.

North’s Seat 9.25-9.55 AG
3 Chiffchaffs and 1 Blackcap.

Barley Lane to Covehurst 10.00-12.00 AG
A large arrival of hirundines with hundreds perching on bushes and the ground as well as feeding over the fields with at least 1,000 Swallows, 200 House martins and 60 Sand martins.
Also a good scattering of insectivorous night-migrants in cover;-
1 Reed warbler, 4 Willow warblers, 6 Common whitethroats, 6 Spotted flycatchers, 1 Wheatear, 10 Whinchats, 1 Common redstart, 3 Tree pipits and 15 Yellow wagtails.

Rocklands/East Hill 12.00-12.40
500+ Swallows S or W.
2 Chiffchaffs and 1 Wheatear.
