Willow Warbler/Chiffchaff 29 [apparent influx of Chiffchaffs, several of both seen, Whitethroat 10, Lesser Whitethroat 4, Blackcap 3, Tree Pipit 2, Yellow Wagtail 4, Whinchat 1, Wheatear 1, Swallow 40, House Martin 10.
1 Great Spotted Woodpecker E along cliffs.

Also of interest: A Dartford Warbler Firehills, Grey Seal off there, pr Peregrines E Hill cliffs and 3 Lesser Black backs of race intermedius off Rock-a-Nore on beach.

3 Chiffchaffs

South Saxons 9.00-10.00 AG
8 Chiffchaffs, 1 Willow warbler, 2 Garden warblers, and 4 Blackcaps. 10 Robins in addition to those singing on territories.

Pebsham marsh 11.00 AG
2 Chiffchaffs, 2 Blackcaps, 1 Common whitethroat and 1 Lesser whitethroat.

Galley Hill 12.00 AG
1 Willow warbler, 3 Robins.

Sunday September 2nd

West Hill 10.45-11.20 AG
2 Swallows, 2 Wheatears, 1 Blackcap.

HCPNR: 16.15-17.00 MG
5 Swallows, f20+ mixed flock House Martins & sand Martins, 1 Great spotted woodpecker, f50 linnets, 2 Wheatears, 5 Willow warblers
