Garden Bush Crickets

In our Fairlight garden we frequently see plump Speckled Bush Crickets, but Oak Bush Crickets only occasionally, so it was a surprise to find one inside my moth trap this morning [no rare migrant moths though, well done Crystal !].

These are both common insects, but still nice to see…. Both are males.

  1. Thanks Alan, you’ve had some beauts this year as well. Catch of the year for hastings must surely be the Goat Moth, definitely the most important one. Here’s hoping the weather stays good for mothing after such a dismal start to the season.
