More moth news

Another warm, calm night and an almost overwhelming catch in the Country Park NR moth trap. There were hundreds of moths of around 70 species [some as yet unidentified], including three nationally notable [b] species: Cloaked Carpet, Festoon and Kent Black Arches-the latter was new for the Country Park, the first for me.

Also of note were Barred Red and the smart, very local micro-moth Evergestis limbata, which sadly escaped before I could photograph it [they tend to do this on warm mornings]. Both of these were new to the Country Park.
