Reedswood road,Avian activities!

A flurry of excitement around Reedswood road this Aft.4-30ish.Whilst talking to Graham Barker who came round to collect a G.S. Woodpecker (for research purposes) that had earlier flown into a closed window and broke it’s neck,we were discussing an influx of Starlings around the area when I noticed a small flock on the Hawthorn tree at the bottom of the garden, and there stood out from the rest of the group was a… ROSE COLOURED STARLING,which stayed just long enough for Graham and myself to I/d and enjoy it’s presence… Regards! Gerry Balcikonis.

  1. Excellent records for Hastings. Congratulations. Has Rose-coloured Starling been recorded within the Hastings County Parish before? I must look this up… !
