hastings country park

A brief hour and a half this afternoon with my 3 yr old son up and down ecclesborne glenn was very nice…the hilites being two orange tips and a common/holly blue on the west side of the glenn…on the east side a peregrine mastered the gusting winds to perform kestrel like above the seemingly worried jackdaws.
This morning i paid a quick visit to brede highwoods in search of nightingale but failed. However, a cuckoo was a fabulous find. First of the year.for me.
