Rock-a-Nore seabirds

This morning I watched for 90 minutes from 0640, my first spring seawatch this year.

A very respectable total of 180 Gannets flew E in groups of up to 15, all but one were adults, a fine sight.

A range of other seabirds included 4 Red Breasted Mergansers and 7 Brent Geese heading E, 4 Common Scoters, about 10 Red Throated Divers and 10 Kittiwakes. 3 Great Crested Grebes were on the sea close inshore.
