Recent seawatches from Rock-a-Nore have revealed very few birds, this morning seemed likely to be similar, with just a few Gannets and Kittiwakes passing. However a Diver flew west that was obviously very large and ponderous, -a Great Northern Diver, shortly afterwards a Red Throated Diver flew west much closer in but looking  smaller and slimmer .

Red Throated Divers are common offshore here in winter, but Great Northern Diver is rare in these waters, in Sussex they are most often seen around Selsey Bill.
