Buzzard 1 over Ecclesbourne Meadow from N was promptly sent back by 2 Ravens [amazingly this is my first record for HCPNR, Buzzards seem very reluctant to cross Fairlight road/Battery Hill, perhaps its the Ravens…?]

Goldfinch 300 E, Siskin 59 E, Linnet 10E, Redpoll 25 both ways, Crossbill 5+ both ways, Reed Bunting 8 both ways, Fieldfare 20 E slowly, Pied Wagtail 14 E, Meadow Pipit 30 E, Grey Wagtail 1W, Starling 15 W.
Skylark 2, Goldcrest 10, Chiffchaff 20, Stonechat 1, Blackcap 1, Song Thrush 3.

White Rock 7.35-8.45
Goldfinch 412E, Siskin 69E, Rook 14W 1E, Skylark f17in, Starling f40in, Pied wagtail 8 over, Meadow pipit 10 over, Chaffinch 8 over, Linnet 5N.
Also Redpolls heard.
1 Wheatear, 3 Song thrushes, 6 Chiffchaffs, 3 Robins.

West Hill 08.00 – 08.50
Linnet 26E, Goldfinch 377E, Meadow Pipit 1E, 11 over, Redpoll 16E, Pied Wagtail 9 in, 8 over, Grey Wagtail 1E, Skylark 2E, Siskin 95E, Chaffinch 67E,
2 Wheatear, 2 Robins, 1 Chiffchaff

Cliff End 07.20 – 08.20
Easterly passage:- Siskin 185, Goldfinch 215, Crossbill v22, Redpoll 105, Chaffinch 14, Greenfinch 2, Meadow Pipit 4, Skylark 2, Linnet 10.
