WNW or W, fresh, chill breeze f5 or 6, 7/8ths grey cloud, clearing later, sunny intervals.

Rock-a-Nore 0700-0800
Common Tern 14 W, Sandwich Tern 16W, Mediterranean Gull 6 adults W along surf while still quite dark, unexpected at this time of year. Gannet 10, Lesser Black-backed Gull 7
Swallow 8W low over the sea.

Firehills & Warren Road 0730-1000
Ring Ouzel: 7 > SW over car park @ 0810
Crossbills heard over Coastguards 0818
4 Bullfinches > high SW Firehills c0835
Large numbers Swallow, House Martin but just 2 Sand Martin, c200 Linnet, Siskin, Chaffinch, Meadow Pipit, Pied Wagtail, 4 L Redpoll >SW
2 Peregrines on cliff below radar.

West Hill 07.30 – 08.20
Swallow 297W, Chaffinch 49W, Meadow Pipit 31W,2 in & W, Goldfinch 4W, Pied Wagtail 3E & 12in, Linnet 3W, Harrier 1W, (unidentified ring-tail at approx.08.10 in pursuit of meadow pipits)
2 Wheatear

White Rock 8.20-9.35
A light westerly passage of Swallow 104, House martin 30, Meadow pipit 39, Pied wagtail 4, Siskin 9, Linnet 30, Goldfinch 17.
14 Robins, 4 Wheatears, 1 Chiffchaff, 1 Great spotted woodpecker.
