N then E,ESE, SE f2 0/8ths increasing to mist, clearing later.

White Rock (with Richard Fowling) – 6.40-7.25
17 Chiffchaffs, 21 Robins, 1 Grey wagtail, 2 Wheatears, 45 Swallows.
Linnet 18W, Meadow pipit 13 over.

Rock-a-Nore 0700-0840
Common Tern 85 W, Sandwich Tern 10W feeding, Arctic Skua 3W together, GC Grebe 1E, 4 Gannets.
Swallow 1840 W , mostly low over the sea and close inshore, House Martin 45 W, sand Martin 1W, Yellow Wagtail 2W, Wheatear 1 on beach.

Torfield 07.10 – 07.35
4 Dunnocks, 15 Robins, 11 Chiffchaffs, 2 Goldcrests

West Hill 07.35 – 09.00
Swallow 1700w, House Martin 26w, Meadow Pipit 51w, Goldfinch 8w, Chaffinch 19w, Pied Wagtail 6w, Grey Wagtail 2w, Whimbrel 1 over.
22 Chiffchaffs, 2 Dunnocks, 6 Robins.

West Hill 10.15 – 12.00
Swallow 30w, Meadow Pipit 18 in, 8 Wheatear, 2 Grey Wagtail, 5 Chiffchaffs.

White Rock 14.30 – 15.00
4 Wheatear, 1 Spotted Flycatcher, 8 Chiffchaffs.

Intermittent passage of swallows, mainly juv, noted 16.00 – 17.00 over and w – west hill.
