Hastings autumn bird migration 2011

Rock-a-Nore 0655-0755 AP
No obvious visible migration, but a number of birds heading west or feeding offshore in response to shoals of presumably Mackerel which could be seen breaking the surface in a number of places.
These included 45 Gannets and 110 Blackheaded Gulls , but just 11 Sandwich and 1 Common Tern.

White rock 11.45 – 12.15 AG
1 Common whitethroat.
