Grey Seal

An hour spent seawatching from Rock-a-Nore yesterday morning produced just 2 Common Scoters and 5 Gannets, but a Grey Seal appeared briefly, it seemed a very large one. Almost all my Seal sightings in this area are Grey.

The new crop of juvenile Herring Gulls is now on the wing, displaying their smart new pale edged feathers .
