Rooftop Moths

A few more moths starting to come to the trap overnight including 12 common quaker, 2 small quaker, powdered quaker, early grey, brindled pug and a hebrew character.

Powederd Quaker
Powdered quaker is a common spring flying moth that occurs in marshes, wet woodland and gardens. The larvae foodplants include scrub species such as willows and blackthorn and marsh plants such as purple loosestrife and meadowsweet.
