Seabird summary

Seawatching from Rock-a-Nore over the last week or so has shown that early spring passage is underway, with a steady movement of birds heading east. On most days these included Gannets, up to 70, and Red Throated Divers, up to 21. Yesterday [March 8] there was a renewal of the Brent Goose movement, with 434 past, the most I’ve seen this year. Up to 36 Great Crested Grebes have been on the sea, while the gull flock in the harbour has included  single Northern Herring Gull and Intermediate Gull [Scandinavian Lesser Black Back]

When will the first Sandwich Tern appear ?
