Fairlight to Hastings

Today I walked through the Country Park to Hastings, in even more spring like weather than yesterday.  The highlight was a singing Dartford Warbler at the bottom of Brakey Bank- my first since the last sighting of the long staying bird by Ecclesbourne Meadow on Nov 26th.

A hundred or so Linnets were in the bird crop fields, also a Brambling; a Siskin flew over Fairlight. 4 Goldcrests in clifftop scrub at Ecclesbourne Meadow and East Hill appeared to be migrants .

Only 3 Great Crested Grebes were on the sea.
