Thanks to our Volunteers!!

Today’s Conservation Day at HCPNR saw a second visit to our long term wetland habitat creation project.
A brilliant effort today saw all the remaining hedgerow cut back exposing the whole length of the ditch and all the arisings burnt as well, making Phase 1 is now complete.
So thanks to everyone that came today, I sincerely hope that you enjoyed yourselves as much as I did. And thanks to Alex for making the soup.
Our next date is Thursday 20th January 2011 when we’ll be creating an area of maritime heathland just east of Ecclesbourne Glen. All welcome, no experience necessary. Please wear old clothes that you don’t mind getting mucky and stout footwear. Bring a packed lunch if you plan to stay all day, we provide the tea and coffee. Any queries and to find out where to meet please contact Alex :- ABayley@hastings.gov.uk
For other dates and more details see the Wild Hastings events calendar.
