On Saxon Pond

Today’s mid-week Conservation Day at HCPNR was a return to the Conservation Group’s long term project at Saxon Pond. Despite being cut short by the weather we still managed a good day’s work thanks to the sterling efforts of the volunteers who came along. We still have loads of work to do there and shall be scheduling some extra Conservation Days in the New Year to push this project along.

Our next date is Sunday 9th January 2011 when we’ll be tackling the wetland habitat creation project at the farm. All welcome, no experience necessary. Please wear old clothes that you don’t mind getting mucky and stout footwear. Bring a packed lunch if you plan to stay all day, we provide the tea and coffee. Any queries and to find out where to meet please contact Alex :- ABayley@hastings.gov.uk
For other dates and more details see the Wild Hastings events calendar.
