Conservation Day at Hastings Country Park Nature Reserve

Yesterday we were at one of the Bird Ringing sites on the Reserve, cutting up and burning the piles of gorse that we created during a cutting session a few weeks ago. As a result of the hard work of everyone that came along we got done what we set out to do plus a bit more besides. A grand day’s work!! Thanks.
To find out about the Bird Ringing Project and other aspects of conservation within the Reserve, why not come along and join us. No previous experience is necessary. We provide the tools and guidance on how to use them. Our next two dates are Thursday 18th November and Sunday 5th December. For more details see the events calendar on this site or phone Alex the Ranger on 01424 813225, Wednesday to Sunday.
