A bright , sunny morning, with a light/moderate easterly wind. Many birds passing low over the sea and difficult to pick up.

As if to illustrate the perils of migration, the pair of Peregrines were circling quite far out over the sea, and I twice saw them stoop on incoming Stock Doves without success.
