Hastings Autumn Landbird Migration Survey

The cliffs around Warren Glen were shrouded in thick mist until late morning, which unfortunately coincided with a Friends of Hastings Country Park guided walk led by Andrew Grace, aimed at allowing participants to view migration !

Bird totals for the morning were predictably low: AP AG 0700-1130 Firehills/Warren Glen:

Chiffchaff 15, Redwing 10 over or on cliff edge, Song Thrush 10, Pied Wagtail 25 E, Dartford Warbler 1, Robin c20, Meadow Pipit 50 E, Goldcrest 10, Goldfinch 100 E, Linnet 20E, Chaffinch 30E, Yellowhammer a group of 6 flying strongly E, Redpoll 5E, Swallow 20E, Reed Bunting 1E, Siskin 10E, Skylark 10
