N – WNW f2 decreasing W or WSW by 16.00, dawn mist in parts clearing to 1/8ths with white cloud later, very good.

Swallow 120 w, House Martin 310 w, Yellow Wagtail 1 w, Grey Wagtail 1 w, Pied Wagtail 6 e, Meadow Pipit 30 and 20 w, Lapland Longspur 1 e over sea, Siskin 15 e, 4 w. 1 Peregrine Falcon, 5 Goldcrest, 55 Chiffchaff (inc. 19 at Firehills), 6 Blackcap, 1 Common Whitethroat, 1 Dartford Warbler (Firehills), 1 Wheatear, 1 Whinchat, 4 Stonechat, 1 Ring Ouzel (Warren Glen), 4 Song Thrush, 6 Dunnock (apparent increase over normal residents), 3 Tree Pipit.
