Grasshopper Warbler

A number of these scarce warblers have been seen or ringed in the Country Park this autumn. My attention was drawn to this one in the Barley Lane bird crop fields by its repeated alarm call-like a softer Wren alarm.  I’ts difficult to get pictures of any of the small migrants, so I was pleased this one was so obliging.
