  1. The Meadow Pipit passage seems to have gone on till at least 1630, using the counts we made plus later observations suggests 2500 birds west and this is no doubt a conservative estimate. Last year the biggest total counts were 610 on Sept 17 and 625 Sept 20, similar dates to this year
