HCPNR/Barley Lane/Covehurst 06.35 – 09.15    AP Short-eared Owl 2 in off sea, Great Spotted Woodpecker 7 in off sea, Swallow 180 w, House Martin 780 w, Meadow Pipit 519 w, Tree Pipit 6 w, Lapland Longspur 1 over, Pied Wagtail recorded w, Grey Wagtail 1 in off sea, Yellow Wagtail 23 w & 4 in field, Song Thrush 5 in, Reed Bunting 7 w, Chaffinch 6 w, Goldfinch 5 w,    1 Marsh Tit, 1 Goldcrest, 1 Reed Warbler, 2 Willow Warbler, 33 Chiffchaff, 6 Blackcap, 4 Common Whitethroat, 1 Lesser Whitethroat, 2 Redstart, 3 Wheatear.

West Hill 07.30 – 07.45    MG Swallow & House Martin 1400 w, Meadow Pipit 90 w, 3 Wheatear, 5 Chiffchaff, 2 Willow Warbler

Torfield 07.35 – 08.40    SB House Martin 14 w, Swallow 30 w, Meadow Pipit 23 w, Thrush sp. 3 w, 4 Blackcap, 11 Chiffchaff, 4 Robin, 3 Willow Warbler and 12 Chaffinch, f11 Long-tailed tit. (Also noted: 1 Kestrel overhead)
