Fairlight Cove July 16

A walk on the beach at the lowest point of the tide, to see if the previous days winds had left anything interesting. A couple of Starfish were taken by Herring Gulls before I could get to them, but there were a lot of Tube Worm cases, and a black egg mass about 3 inches long. Does anybody know what this is ?

Sea Bindweed still flowering behind the berm, and a couple of Med Gulls offshore.
